Case Study: Verifying Spatial Variability with a Snow Scope Probe on the Flat Tops, Colorado

Our friends over at Avalanche Savvy got a chance to use a Snow Scope Probe this season while teaching courses, guiding, and recreating in an area that doesn’t see a ton of observations. Being motorized users, they had a unique take on how to blend Snow Scope Probe observations with traditional obs to rapidly understand spatial variability across the large terrain area they cover.

Check out their blog post here for their insights and takeaways from using a Snow Scope Probe.
